WE ENGAGED A TARGETED GROUP OF BLOGGERS TO SUPPORT AN EVENT SPONSORSHIP
GE (and its agency iStrategy Labs) engaged Klaxon to conduct some blogger outreach in London. The idea was to communicate how GE’s lighting products were being used in London during the 2012 Olympics and to build awareness through popular blogs.
Klaxon created a custom event for GE and took a group of targeted and prominent bloggers on a boat trip along the Thames. The journey took the bloggers past the major sights that has installed GE’s lighting products, including the Houses of Parliament and Tower Bridge. The event was a roaring success with photos and blog posts being readily shared online.
