Setting your Strategy for Online Events

If you’re thinking of building online events into your marketing strategy, you might find this webinar from BrightTalk’s academy useful. It relates heavily to BrightTalk, which you would expect, but you can take a lot of the lessons from here to apply to other platforms if you wish.

Many of the ideas around content strategy, aligning content to your audiences, promotional timescales and measurement are very interesting and relate well to the lessons I’ve learned over the past couple of years running online events / webinars.

Other related webinars include What Metrics Matter for Online Events and Maximising Online Events and the Content Matric Method.

Looks good BrightTalk. Thanks.

I was really interested in watching this webinar but found that the registration steps required way too much information….so sorry just not interested in giving away every conceivable way of contacting me when a simple email address would surfice….

dee – not sure I understand your point or if this is a spam comment. In any case, you can read more about offline event marketing in other blog posts so take a look around.

Geoff – the registration is for BrightTalk and not Klaxon Marketing. If you don’t feel like giving away your contact details that’s fine, but the content is good and if you’re thinking of running webinars it may well be worth sacrificing a little time for a sales call.

Quite a few handy tips in the video. We have a few events planned as part of the blog over the next few months and stumbled across this blog post.

      Just a quick thanks :)
