The day and the time of the day are critical.

For instance there&#039;s little point sending an email midday Monday on Bank Holidays - people will probably delete it when they have a mountain of emails when returning to work the following day.

We have some sites which have excellent response rates on Friday afternoons, and some that avoid Friday&#039;s altogether. 

These timings are based on lots of A/B testing over many campaigns, and lots of analysis.</description>
